Alaska Vacation Puzzle Table

On my recent trip to Juneau, AK to see my new granddaughter and perform some sitting while they worked, I packed my Kreg Jig for the flight. My son wanted a collapsible table to build puzzles on. Using his specs and some drawings, and the very basic of tools, I put this together. 1x2 hemlock and a 3/8" 4x4 piece of plywood from The Home Depot, a mitre box and back saw from Walmart, and a few sundries (wood glue, speed square, carpenter pencils, etc.) I used a couple plastic sawhorses, hand-sawed the 1x2's to length and Kreg-Jigged the joints. All in all, project was what my son wanted (even unfinished wood). Glad the weather was nice for a few consecutive days.

40" wide, 30" deep, 30" front legs, 32" back legs.  I think I should have made a 4 to 6" drop for a more slanted surface.  You would need a felt or flannel surface to prevent pieces sliding off.  Good luck Becky.

I love it!  I HAVE to try this!  What are the approximate dimensions of the finished table?

That looks great and really handy. I'm sure it will be greatly use and will last long. Great job!

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
