This is a Calafornia King. I followed the advise of all the plans I could find and wish I hadn't. The plans were for smaller beds and they all said you should make the top an inch wider on both sides to ease in making the bed. I dont like the gap and as you can see in the pics that I don have a cover on the box anyway. I do need to buy some much wider beding to cover the boxspring. I have painted a 2 inch perimiter all the way around the bed, painted it black. Thanks again Aaron

You say this is your first project with the Kreg Jig? It does look really awesome! I am planning to build a similar bed in King size. You have just given my confidence a tremendous boost. I have a picture of the bed I want. Now, if I can just find the plans...

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
