I got the basic idea on how to make it from here  http://discussions.texasbowhunter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=129864  scroll down a bit and you will see it.

I don't have any formal plans, it's not hard, once you get started you'll see how it all goes together.  I hardest part is to make sure the cooler sits at the right height.

I actually bought a cooler without a drain and made a hole in the bottom on onside (make sure it will be the low side on where you will put it).  I found a bulkhead fitting to pass the water through the cooler.  You'll find those at aquarium supply stores (or online).

This is awesome!  Do you have plans for it?  Would love to make one for my deck!

Thanks Carlos, I appreciate the kind words.  I plan to build some more, they make great gifts and conversation pieces.

I love this project, what a great idea, imagine at parties, I'd have to explain to everyone where the cooler is.  ha ha

Thanks George, I've made 2 of these.  The first one I gave to my son, the second I sold to a co-worker. I'll make another to keep.  Each time I make one I do something a little different.  The working with the reclaimed wood is a challenge - a lot of cupping and warping makes it tough to line things up some times.

Cool !!! No wait, this is way too cool for a cooler !!! Now, I’m thirsty for an ice cold beer ... :)

Solid work output.  Definitely, a sign of good craftsmanship.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
