Thank you all, this was a fun project and a slightly smaller version of the piece made for my grandson.  I appreciate that you noticed the drawer fronts, Jay!  Matching grains was one of the first lessons my father tried to impart and it can really make the difference in the final look.  I think this is also a lesson learned from my early years of quilting with my mother - putting fabrics and colors together well is the the difference between a "blanket" and an heirloom quilt.  Thanks again!

Hi Joan.  This looks awesome!  I'm sure that your friend will really LOVE it!  I like the tapered legs as well.  I am new to woodworking and hope to learn how to build something like this.  I've been building things for the garage.  They are my "practice" pieces.  We all have to start somewhere.  Very Nice Changing Table! :)  Keep up the good work!

Joan, this is a terrific example of work.  I like the design and wood grains and especially  like how you laid out the drawer fronts in #2 and #3 drawers.  This is something many woodworkers forget when they build projects with great grain and color features.  The open storage is very nice touch as this really compliments the piece.  The end panels look great with the wavy wood grain streaks running the full height of the panel.   Nice touch is the tapered legs.  Well executed woodworking skills through the piece.  Thank you for sharing another fine looking example.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
