L

uis, I used all standard pine boards, this made it fairly cheap to do and the quality was good enough for what I needed.  The side with the drawers - the face frame is 1X4 standard boards.  The drawers are 1X8 fronts.  The drawers have ball bearing slides from an old broken down desk I found.  The ends and back side  is made from two 1X10 standard (or maybe quality boards) that were pieced together on edge.  Using the Kreg jig to connect pieces on edge is so much easier than biscuits or dowels.  Then just some chipboard for under the bed and of course, some all-in-one stain and sealer.  The only problem I found was picking through the boards to make sure you get some descent ones.  Hope this helps
