This is my first kreg project. It is a TV cabinet with end door, shelves and drawer.

For some reason, I can't edit the link (or my previous post). The photo is in my photos on this site.

Bruce,

Here is a link to the picture. I used contrasting wood rather than contrasting stain. I also flipped the center section and eliminated the drawer. I also thought it would look nicer with the door rails/stiles darker. I'm very pleased with how it turned out. When I first saw yours, I thought it was mine. I'm sure you could modify the plan to work for what you have in mind.

I really like the TV cabinet that you have built Bruce, The contrasting timbers you have used work really well together.  Excellent job, thanks for sharing your work with us.

Thanks Hugh.  How did you improve your cabinet?, I am planning on building a "stereo cabinet, following the same principles as this one.  It will be like the same width, but about 22 inches wide and about 4 ft high, Including a drawer and glass door for stereo components.  Any suggestions?

Very nice, Bruce. You used the same plan that I started with (mine has been "improved" :) ). The cove molding is a nice addition.

Thank you Jay for the nice comment.  I have two other plans in mind.  One is a Stereo cabinet, on the same plan as this one, and the other is a divider between living-room and dining room.

Bruce, what a nice project!!!! love the contrast between the wood colors and the total design.  Your biggest problem will be that you will have to have very interesting TV programs on to keep your guest attention.  I'm sure they will be busy admiring your work and not the TV program.  Although the Kreg Jig makes building easier, it is still the talents of design and your attention to details that if of most importance.  You have accompolished this in fine detail thus showing some excellent craftsmanship.  Thank you for showing such a fine example.

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
