hey patrick, thats a great use of space, using the table saw fence is a great idea, hope it works very well for you.

thanks Patrick...my delta is the same style as yours, just different year. so I will look for an insert plate and make my own table top to mount into the saw. Yes you are right...making your own jigs/tools is just as much fun, and they always work better than store bought !

hi mike the table saw is a delta ts350 it is not a full size table saw those are 27 deep mine is 22.no one makes a router table extension wing for my dimensions so i built it using woodsmith plan and modified dimensions.2 sheets 3/4 mdf glued then glue poplar edge banding then formica router out area for router plate insert and miter guide took a day to build but very happy with result .i can use table saw fence with a clip on sacrificial fence for router.sometimes building our equip or jigs is half the fun.

did the same thing to my Delta (2000) table saw... I also have not had any stability problems. Think it helps if it has full cast table like in the picture.

?? what brand of router table is this ?? the only one I could find with a table I could cut to fit into my saw was a cheap wolfcraft (?) ...not at all happy with it.

its been fine i removed a small steel extension wing roughly 9x22 and replaced with 22x24 router table and used mainly factory bolt holes to mount it i can now use the tablesaw fence with a sacrificial fence clipped on for the router..thanks

Good one Patrick, how have you found the stability of the saw since you have added the extra router wing.
