Thanks, Dave.  The original plan was "veneered accent table: from Woodsmith magazine, issue #188.  Do you have access to that or subscribe?  I used the basic dimensions of the plan but did not put on a veneer top or the trim pieces, and added the curve on the underside of the rails.  The rails are joined to the legs with a mortise & tenon joint and I used the Kreg to attach the shelf and top.  If I had it to do differently, I would insert the lower shelf before finishing the joinery of the legs & rails; it was a tight fit to put in after the fact!  Good luck with your projects and be sure to post pictures.  It's really fun and informative to see what others are doing!

Thank you!  Ryan - I thought I had responded a couple of days ago but don't see it here....  The outside dimensions of the legs are 13x13 and are 25 1/4 long.

Beautiful table!  What are the dimensions of the frame (ie: not the top, just the part framed by the legs)?

Jay - thanks for your comments!  I appreciate the feedback.  Coincidentally, I have an entry table made by my father several years ago with a very similar design.  I ended up using the same finish and they make a great pair in my foyer.   BTW, I checked out a recommendation of yours to visit the "Woodworking for Engineers" site - great stuff!  Thanks for the tip!

Joan, very nice in every detail.  Excellent choice of wood material and execution of design and construction.  It shows talent and design skills and worthy of a special place in either your home or a customers home.  It would make an excellent product to sell and should be a winner in the designers line of furniture.  I really like the arched skirting and the nice formed leg design that gives it a strong look yet still not over powering the total piece.  It has the elegent look of cathedral rendering a strong eye appeal.  I also like your method of display with the  natural look with plant life makes for an excellent photo.    Thank you for sharing you work.

Thank you!  Actually started with a band saw then finished it a guide piece and router.

Very Nice! Did you use a skill saw and template for the curved pieces?
