This wood is rom a 1927 machine shed that was being torn down,so I got busy with chain saw and salvaged lots of timber

Jens, This is a very nice looking model that is definately a "keeper".  too good to sit out in the weather and would look very nice sitting as a display .  If you got alot of this wood you are sitting on a gold mine as this stuff is very scarce and getting more so everyday.  This is another reason not to place it out in the weather as it is wood that will soon be gone.   Not only is it an interesting and attractive model, but the little bit of lumber used in building this makes it valuable.  You just can't get the good lumber like you once could unless you do what you did and find something where you can salvage it.
