I built this with pine wood i cut down to size myself for the frame and top. I used 1/4 inch plywood for the side panels and bottom. I made the moulding around the panels myself with my router table. (I just got back into building, so the work will progress over time.

This is actually an indoor storage bench I made for someone else. I used primer and an off-white/country white paint on the base and a cherry stain on the top. Thanks.
Is this an outdoor or indoor project? Just wondering what you used as a finish.
Really looks awesome though, very nice job.
Thanks George. I appreciate it. I just got back into wood working so I have to rehone my skills, but I will post more projects as I go. I plan to build with all wood and good, furniture grade plywood from now on. I built a few projects with MDF but it's just not the same as real wood and doesn't have the beauty.
Steve, great job one the storage bench. This will be a very useful piece of furniture and it will last for several generations. George

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
