The reason I did not Caulk- if I ever moved I could remove the top carry out the cabinet. Very Easy!!!
It wouldn't hurt to run a bead of caulk, once it's set it'll stay there for sure. I suppose you could do that if you are worried that it may ever come off ;P
Jason, The Granite top is very heavy. 1 1/4" thick is appx. 18# per sq foot, It has a very rough bottom no need to attach " Just set it and forget it" ..
