well here is the end result. after a few days, and cleaning the shop too. the barrel is half full, and the shop vac is empty, and never lost suction. but yes every once an a while you will have to shake out the filter, but no where near as often as if just using the shop vac. what a big deference in the shop with this hooked up to all the tools.
