Thanks Justin, I'm trying all 3 this was my very first piece of grown up furniture, love it, and would like to repurpose it as the middle piece on entertainment ctr. It's very matte, no shine whatsover if that helps

Hey Angie, looks like older pine.  I would try just some regular poly and see what happens with it as far as the color.  If it's close great, if not, I would try regular shellac or amber shellac.  One of those 3 has to be really close.

This is an old Broyhill blanket chest that I'm trying to match the Entertainment center too, any ideas on the finish or comments in general would be appreciated thx

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
