    Hi there Tomboy

yeah its a woodworking injury I was cutting panels for some cabinet doors I'm making and the panel came flying out of my table saw and got me right in the left index finger, clear to the bone, the dr said I was lucky that I didn't cut a tendon, I cut the sheath that covers the tendon but not the tendon itself, 15 stitches a broken watch band and a bent saw blade. I consider myself extremly lucky.

    Thanks for you concern

Hello Ray and Thank you for a very nice complement.  This is definately a "one of a Kind" you know the type where the customer comes in gives you some numbers for the sizes and says "12 drawers" and  make it out of alder and leaves.  You get nervous but start building without any plans and finally it comes together.   Looking at your displayed photos, you have some pretty impressive projects as well.  I noted that you do not specialize in any one certain thing but in many.  Now that takes talent, patience and a defiante love for woodworking.  Nice conversing with you, and again thank you for a nice comment.   Now I got to go dust off my radio  ha ha ha  lol

Hello Ray, I am honored for the invite.  I know your knowledge will give me much insite into the art of woodworking.  I have viewed you posted photos and I am impressed.  I definately like the assortment of creative projects.  You are definately very talented and know what you are doing.   Perhaps I can be of some help to you as well, I would like to pass on some of my ideas that I have learned from my 20 plus years of getting cuts scrapes splinters and making saw dust.

    Hello Ray,

No, I have not had a chance to get to Willard's yet.  I certainly want to, however it seems I can't get away from the house projects as of yet.  Need a 'spare day' to go.  I'll give a yell when I do.

Hey Ray, I used to order the bags from Amazon, Big Horn was the name of them.  I remember they were a little bigger than the HF bag, but they worked just fine and I'm pretty sure they were around $10 for 4 bags? I don't remember what size bags they were though. Hope this helps!  Have a good holiday!

  • justin waldron

No problem at all Ray, glad I could help, I still can't believe that HF doesn't have the bags there for it, that drove me nuts.  The Big Horn bags are cheap, but do a great job!  Merry Christmas to you too!!
