Working in the space you're given. Like or dislike.

Being in the military has it's ups and downs. One downside is adapting to the work space provided ie the garage. Sometimes the space is large and some times not so much. Right now not so much. You must be choosy about what tools you need and which ones just take up space. I have narrowed my collection down to radial arm saw, table top lathe, and router. By far the router is the most used. However once I sold my table saw I lost my router table top, which was attached to the side. Now I must decide to either get a stand alone router table or build another router table that will attach to my work bench. I'm leaning towards the stand alone. That way no matter where Uncle Sam sends me I can find a place to put it. Further more I don't have to have my work bench in a particular spot. What do y'all think?
