Just thought I would start a discussion on woodworkers real jobs. It would be fun to no if there are lots of professional people using Kreg Jig along with people  like myself a retired  construction worker.

Kathy from Hermitage, TN. Retired from 17 years of vinyl graphics installation / removal and before that I was a draftsman (woman). Now I stay at home and play at home improvement and furniture making with all my awesome power tools! Tomorrow I pick up a lathe!! :)
Loren from Jennings, LA. I'm a SAHM who has no more babies at home. Husband works offshore and is gone for 3 weeks at a time so I've kinda taken over the shop and the power tools. Prefer to make sawdust than to dust!
I'm Ben from Adelaide, South Australia and I'm a full time sales rep in the food industry.
Mike Yeah I've tried to figure that out. The wood just ends up being to heavy and when you wreck there isn't enough bondo in the world.. :)

I am the IT Director for the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Woodworking is a great break away from computers all day long. Is it bad though that I spend ALOT of time on the computer reading, watching and writing about woodworking. I should probably spend some more time in the shop. :)

Wow what a crappy thing to have to deal with. Living on the beach. LOL. I am an Maintenance Engineer for a large high end resort in Western Wyoming (Ski Country). I'm Geary, I'm an amateur wood worker, for several years now. I'm jealous that David lives on the beach. I love my job and am glad that I have one. Still I would like to live in a warmer climate, someday! Glad to see so many other enthusiasts out there.

Greetings, I live and work in remote southern Mexico, where I have hotel/restaurant right on the Caribbean. Moisture, Salt and wind wreak havoc on my furniture/fixtures and I'm constantly in "repair-mode". Kreg system has been a livesaver for me this year, after years of dealing with clamps/biscuits/glue, etc. Also have used system in my "mini-shop" (soon to be expanded) at our "get-away" home in NE Ohio, where we have a totally restored 1874 farmhouse with HUGE Amish dairy barn on property, so..I'll get a lot of mileage of this system, with all the projects that are in the works. Gotta run..have to go make a couple of Margaritas for clients!
I agree with Geary...would love to have to deal with the conditions that David has to deal with..lemme know when you need a "vacation David..I'll happily fill in for ya..im up for that task for sure...lmao

Hell he can go live in his Ohio farm house full time and I'll send him the profits from the business every month. I'd just be happy to live on a beach for a while.
I am a corporate pilot from Tampa, Florida. Over my career I have flown King Airs (F90, C90, 200 300 & 350), Beechjets, Diamond Jets, Lear 45, Citation 560 and Citation 750. Prior to making flying a career I was a Loan Officer and Branch Manager in a bank. I turned my hobby and what I really loved (flying) into my job and have been happy ever since. Just getting started in woodworking. Love this forum. I really enjoy seeing projects from others and look forward to posting my own sometime soon.
Im a steel worker actually a tube mill
I've been woodworking since I was about six ... after three plus decades in another profession, I now work at Rockler Woodworking and Hardware in Bridgeton, MO ... and in my own shop. If you are in the area, stop in ... I'm there 40 hours a week (at Rockler, that is).

Been using the Kreg Jig for a lot of years, and I highly recommend it. Once you've started you'll use the screws even when you aren't doing pocket holes. The folks at Kreg are great ... spent a little time in Huxley a few years back .. .and may stop there again this summer.
