Currently, my day job is "house-spouse". LOL I'm retired at age 55 so I stay at home to take care of the house and children. (We have two; Sean, born 4/23/07 and Isabelle, born 11/2/08.) I love my job and my kids. My wife works and is going to school for her nursing degree. Although I have been interested for some time, I only started getting my shop together a few months ago. (Limited income makes this a slow process.) The only thing I've built so far is some shop jigs and a router table, but I'm looking forward to doing something better as the shop comes together.
Good Afternoon All,
I am retired after 45+ years in a major ductile iroan foundry in the midwest. I have a small wood shop in my basement working on a variey of projects for family, friends and church. Also gives me a place to get away from my wife's passion for cable net work news (or should I say cable network editorials). My table saw makes less noise than some of these jokers
I am an accountant, purchaser, delivery person, materials acquisitioner, bookkeeper, advertiser, marketer, planner, designer, measurer, drafter, customer service professional, manufacturer, finisher, social web participant, writer, technical writer... If all that is in place and I get a retainer or down payment, then I take off all those disguises and become a woodworker, cabinet maker, or furniture maker. Some day I might just put LaGrange, KY on the map, who knows?

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Several months ago, I purchased the Kreg K4MS so that I could build the Lego Table as outlined on the companion "buildsomething" web site which exclusively uses pocket hole construction. I have considerable experience with conventional…
