Just thought I would start a discussion on woodworkers real jobs. It would be fun to no if there are lots of professional people using Kreg Jig along with people  like myself a retired  construction worker.

I currently am on staff at San Francisco State University where I manage the University Property Office. I love my Kreg jig! I cannot believe how much I have used it for simple projects around the house.

Hi, My Name is Adam Adolph. My day job is an assembler for the Agco Corporation. I Live in Worthington,MN and work at the Challenger Tractor Plant in Jackson, MN. I also own a lawn care business which I take care of in the evenings and weekends. Woodworking is more of a hobby to me than anything.

Im from Bemidji and wife is from Duluth.Have not lived there for 35 yrs and really don't miss the skeeters and humidity,and cold winters.But do miss Walleyes

Jens, here in Iowa we have the humidity and cold winters.. but we don't even get the Walleye! ;)

I'm in a small town in Southern Maryland (La Plata). I retired from Verizon on Christmas Eve, 2001. Our old house was destroyed by an F-4 tornado on April 28, 2002. The new house has my dream shop in the basement. My wife and I own a small furniture and craft/decorative painting business called Wood 'n Wings. I've been making sawdust for about 20 years.

Retired computer geek (Wintel servers for large financial co) Got interested in wood working building props for action pistol competitions. Now I am cutting back on pistol matches to have more time fo woodworking. Like most things these days wish I had started earlier.

I'm a trial lawyer in Wyoming. I've worked wood since I was a junior in high school making speaker enclosures for my rock band. I got away from it while in college and law school but purely by accident stumbled across James Krenov's first book. I've been hooked since - as time allows. I plan to remodel my kitchen next summer with new cabinets and the works.

I do not have a REAL job. Retired, disabled and etc. I live in Mayfield, KY and come from a construction back ground. I have built furniture and odd things all my life, but got away from it trying to work to many hours to get the kids through school and now I have some extra time on my hands to do a little wood working in basement.

I work in our business Carroll' Woodcraft Supplies as the business owner general dogs body.
We advise all the wodies on how to do their projects and sell the bits and peices.
This does not allow us much time to do our own work.
Come on retirement.
