The tip of the drill needs to hit the stock 3-3/8" from the end. The red dotted line is the centerline of the screw and the black dotted lines indicate the pocket. As you can see from the drawing, coming from inside the case is problematic because the 22-1/2 degree angle of the joint is too close to the 15 degree angle…</p>

<p>If I understand what you are doing correctly, a typical flag display case is a 45-90-45 triangle. The 90 is not an issue, the jig is made for that. The two 45's can be done but from the outside of the case.</p>
