Hello everyone,
I was wondering how many tools you all have in your workshop- power and hand tools- that you actually use in everyday projects. I like to keep my tools to a minimum. I have a mitre saw, a plunge router with a fence (not a table), a jigsaw and a cordless drill. I also have a hand plane, 2 chisels,a Jap back saw and some general hand tools- mallets, screwdrivers and clamps. That's it. I have never felt the need to buy anything more. Anyone here agree (or strongly disagree!) with me?

I think I'd be shocked and amazed if i went and listed all the tools i have in my garage. many years ago to help pay my way through college i worked as a auto mechanic one day i tried to figure out how much I had invested in those tools. I started with the bottom drawer of my toolbox and when I hit $1000 (in 1977) and hadn't counted everything in that drawer I quit.
some of the woodworking tools i have ..
Shopsmith with bandsaw, sander, planer, and Jointer.
seperate drill press
craftsman Radial Arm Saw ( $125 used )
at least 3 drills 3/8 or 1/2 inch
dewalt bisket joiner
dewalt 7.2 volt screwdriver
3 routers , one on a table
Milwaukee circular saw
enough hand tools to fill 3 craftsman tool chests, these include the mechanics tools along with the woodworking stuff
a couple of Kreg jigs ( K3 and a mini , gota mention these afterall )
Now if i could get the kids 4wheelers out of the garage i'd have room for a couple more bigger tools, I've been eyeing a couple of cabinet and table saws.
and i've probably left many many tools off the list.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
