This is probably it for me. This was really my first woodworking project I had ever done since back in middle school. Wanted to build a desk for my new computer... one that would have a hidden drawer in the back for storing additional hard drives and excess wiring, etc. Thanks to the help of a few friends, the project came together real well!
Good idea for a thread. Someone posted directions for posting photos...

This is an after photo of my kitchen renovation. I made my first set of cabinets.

First wooden project that I made.Decided if I wanted to do this(woodworking) when I retire that I should try something more difficult then a book shelf.

For me my crown jewel project is the pie safe. It took the most skill, time, and investment to do.


After that, it's my hall tree, which sits in my front entry.

I would have to say TV Cabinet.It is first all pocket screwed project I done in the furniture department. All my screen doors are pocket screwed also

These are the chairs I made for the church, the pastor was sitting on a folding chair and the church did not have any of the alter chairs left.

I tore out this old fireplace....


...and replaced it with this fireplace and matching wainscoat.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
