Kreg Owners' Community

Anybody have one of the old K200's that you would want to sell? It's the single hole unit where the drill is spring loaded and has an air clamp with a foot switch. Ours has a bit of a wobble now, and we've tried a new chuck which improved but did not toatally solve the problem. this unit is one of the quickest ways to drill multiple holes, I'm very disappointed that they decided to stop making it. Someone in one of the threads about replacing the K3 with the K4 I think hit the nail on the head. Kreg seems to be gearing their products more to the DIYer, and if you want to do procuction they want you to step up to a big $ unit. I'm sure the bigger multi- thousand dollar units are great, but the other problem besides the money is I would have to rearrange my shop and the way it flows to accomodate it. Now I'm REALLY worried with the phasing out of the K3 that if my old 200 dies we'll have to reach around the opposite side of the panel to clamp it, AND have to reinsert the drill into the unit each time. I would guess each hole will take anohter 30 -45 seconds to set up to drill over using the K200. Anyway, here's a picture of the unit, if you've stepped up to a different system and would like to get rid of yours I think we could make it worth your while to give up the 200! Thanks!
