Kreg Owners' Community

I noticed that even though there are 30 or 40 members online the chat room is seldom used, I was told that if you go to the chat room and in the right corner you click on the pop out option you can monitor the chat room without actually being there, you will hear a chime when someone types something in there.

One idea that has been suggested is to have a specific time every week or month where members meet specifically to chat in the chat room.  Would this interest anyone?  My suggestion would be to do it once a month to start out (perhaps on the night that the Kreg Plus Newsletter arrives, at 7:00PM Central Time).  The chats could even focus on a particular topic based on suggestions from the community.

Any input/suggestion on this topic is very welcome!

I think the Kreg Reps idea is a good way for members to become more familiar with each other, and the other tools that Kreg or even other manufactures

well i like to use chat room too with others but i have noticed that only a few use it even if 30 or more are on line

and it help me get  info from other members that i found great help to me. ty

Probably a lot leave there browser on kreg site not really on.

 Hi, Guys.

I think the Kreg Rep has a good idea in starting the chat room. Right now, I am stuck in the house because I can't get into my tiny shop because everything eles is in there right now. I also don't have any electric hooked up in my shop. I am waiting patiently on the day the snow is gone and the expanding of my shop to begin.

Sounds good. Anything coming down the pipe

I got another jig  and got it all set up , kind of hard to get excited about a bit different tool when the old one did such a good job.  I havent used the Micro set up yet but if the snow goes so I dont have t worry about falling on the way to the shop then will do some playng around with 1/2 in stuff.  I dont have any spare room so my jig is mounted on a board, has a box to the side of it that holds all the misc. stuff,m thenthis hangs in a tight space on the wall.  I have an air cylinder hooked up to speed operation,  I got a digital camera but havent figured out how to get the pictures from it to the computer, so guess this is the best I can show and tell
You got your jig on an air cylinder?  Look at Woodentoolcompany's utube channel to see the simple jig on there that uses just a simple wooden lever to make it so you can open and close the clamp with your foot. Even videos to show how to make it.  Both kinds of jigs are covered.  Make the process alot faster.  Must have been fairly expensive to get an air cylender geared up?
I think it's a good idea.  When your going to start a project talk about here.  Its a good bet someone has done the same thing and could give you some tips.
