I would like to know if anyone has built a trophy case that can swing away to a hidden storage room? In particular, how do you build it to minimize sagging from age and use.

A bit worried about you Chris, the only hidden rooms I have seen in the movies are for torture, kidnap and the occasional orgy.

As for the sagging from age, I am getting used to it.

Build Frankenstein with your kreg jig?

I think I'm more worried about Peter's mind than Chris !  but anyway....

I have seen this style door used in a friends house going into the theatre room. From the outside it looks like a lower cabinet with a bookcase top at the end of the hallway. The hinges are a set of three 3inch heavy hinges with a reinforced door frame.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
