This is embarrassing. I have no idea how it happened (and neither do the other two people who use my workshop!) but the cover for the clamp assembly on my K5 DISAPPEARED. One day when I went down to the workshop to drill a pocket hole - it simply wasn't there. Thankfully it was set on 3/4" so I was able to drill my hole but what about after that?

I phoned Kreg and told them my tale of woe to see if I could buy and install a new cover because without it I couldn't seem to move the clamp at all. After some research on their database the gentleman I was talking to said it didn't look like I could just buy the cover and/or install it myself. My heart sank.

And then he said "so we'll just send you a new one". Are you kidding? for free? Are you double kidding?

And so they did. It arrived. Looks just like the first one I bought.

Thank you Kreg. That's what I call Customer Service.
