<p>Interior use pick what you like. Most stores have sample displays with wood pieces stained.</p>

It'll be on a screened-in porch but will be exposed to the elements. Should I stain it with clear then seal using a poly coat or two?

Brian, I would use a clear on cedar. but if you seal it you can't smell it..... leave it alone unless it will be outside... then clear sealer
