I thought I remembered seeing once before that you could silence squeaky floors with the Kreg jig...any-one done this or can tell me how to do it? How do you know how thick the subflooring is in your house?

Ron,
This is demonstrated in the Kreg Jig Jr. video, at about the 2:20 point. You'll most likely be drilling the hole using the 3/4" or 1/2" settings since that's likely the thickness of your subfloor.
