SML-C125: SML stands for washer screw head, C stands for coarse screw threads, and 125 is the screw length 1 1/4 inch. This screw would be used for soft wood that's 3/4 inch thick.<br />
SML-HL125: This is basically similar to the above description except for the thread pattern. The HL stands for Hi-Low screw thread which is basically a screw with 2 thread ridges. This screw is used for soft to medium hard wood.
