my 10 year old saw died yesterday
i've been looking for a replacement but it seems that everything is made in china (to me that means over priced junk)
every thing which iv'e purchased (rated as professional grade )
made in china wasn't woth the time it took me to throw it in the dumpster.

I'm afraid that if you eliminate China as a source country anymore, you have almost taken yourself out of the market. I have a Triton 10" slider that works very well for me. I don't recall just where it was made though. To hot to run out to the shop and look now. I know it's not US made. For that matter, the last verifiable US made thing I bought turned out to be a POS that cost me almost as much money to get acceptable as it cost originally.
i own a bosch ros thought it was german... no made in malaysia
i own a milwakee 1 3/4 hp plunge router thought it was us...no made in china
i own a hi rise craftsman professional floor jack for suv's & small trucks surely thata american...no made in china
(ithink that's an oximoron "professional" tool made in china)
all my us made craftsman tools go on forever (i have hand & power tools from the 70's & 80's still working fine)
anything made in china lasted 11/2 to 3 yrs then self destructed
i just hope my bosch & milwakee break the trend
thank you for your responses

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Several months ago, I purchased the Kreg K4MS so that I could build the Lego Table as outlined on the companion "buildsomething" web site which exclusively uses pocket hole construction. I have considerable experience with conventional…
