well your problem was going to home depot since they carry just a few items if that of the kreg brand, instead go next door to lowes and get yourself a second kreg drill bit, since lowes seems to carry a few more items than home depot does, or if your lucky enough to live close to a woodcrafters then you'll be able to see pretty much the full line as well as the full assortment of wood plugs as well as the plastic ones. and for the price you cant really complain spending just a few more bucks…
well your problem was going to home depot since they carry just a few items if that of the kreg brand, instead go next door to lowes and get yourself a second kreg drill bit, since lowes seems to carry a few more items than home depot does, or if your lucky enough to live close to a woodcrafters then you'll be able to see pretty much the full line as well as the full assortment of wood plugs as well as the plastic ones. and for the price you cant really complain spending just a few more bucks to get the original drill bit as a back up. me personally i have 3 bits, 1 for current jobs, the second as a back up, and the third is usually in between coming and going back to kreg for resharpening for just a few bucks, so treat yourself to a few new drill bits this year and tell just tell the wife you'll make her something pretty, that usually gets me wife approval for any purchases i make on kreg tools. just a thought...
