Hi all...I just recently started using my Kreg jig.....when setting the stop on the drill bit (as well as determining screw length) what is the measurement based on? Is it based on the thickness of the material I'll be screwing thru or the thickness of the mating piece you're screwing into?
I'm going to be putting trim pieces of solid pine around my double thick plywood (2 pieces of 3/4" baltic birch plywood) and I want to use my Kreg jig. Do I base my setting on the 1 3/8" of plywood or the 1" of pine trim?
