I am a long time do it myself kinda guy that likes to tinker around trying to modify and invent tools that make setups and repeatabilty easier. I am presently working on a self levelling clamp that allows the faces of two boards to be perfectly level and smooth even if the boards are slightly different in thickness. I have successfully joined boards with as much as 1/8" difference in thickness and maintained a perfectly level surface on the face of the joint. Does anyone besides me see any value in a clamp of this design?

Have you finalized your self-leveling clamp.   Do you have pics?

No, I kind of lost interest as there was little or no interest in the clamp. Like most of the inventions or inovations I have come up with over the years there seems to be no interest until it comes out as a commercial product and then everyone wants one. I have had a remote controlled switch on my cyclone for probably 25 years but when I ran it past friends in a woodworking club they all laughed and said "who needs that"? Now they are commonplace.

Just one example of many, so I will sit on this one as well.
