I just watched a video on these new clamps called "Automaxx Clamps". Link is below if you care to watch it.

Automaxx Clamps

Not sure when they coming out, as I just looked at KregTool.com and don't see them there....yet.

I've heard tell, the end of Dec or 1st of the year.

At Kreg we’re always hard at work developing innovative products. We were excited to show prototypes of the new Automaxx clamps at IWF this year. We’re continuing to develop the clamps and refine their design to get them ready for release in 2013. We’ll keep you posted!

I was just wondering when are you coming out with a right angle clamp for the microjig.

Personally I don't see any advantage of Rocklers over the one Kreg makes.  I helped my neighbor build a small cabinet about two months ago in his garage shop.   He had purchased two of the Rockler clamps and they did not work so well clamping the face frame to the cabinet case as well as the face frame rails. Had problems with alinement and clamping straight.   I ended up getting and  using my kreg clamps.  It is a copy of an old clamp made and sold over 20 years ago and was common in steel fabrication shops for clamping steel together for welding.  I used them many times.  All I see different is that they added a pointed end to fit into a pocket hole.

I've been using Kreg pocket hole clamps since they introduced it and have no complainants about them.

Just surprised kreg let Rockler surpass them with the Rockler pocket hole clamp, what a nice tool, aluminum body, precise adjustable settings and easier than kreg clamps that are limited to workpiece design positioning.

Agreed---nice tool.

The Rockler pocket hole clamp is limited to face frames, where both members are in the same plane.

Pock-it Hole Clamp® with Quick Release

What does one do, when the plastic pin gets stuck into the drilled pocket hole?

Personally, I find the Kreg right-angle clamp more universal,

The Kreg clamp is more suited for assembling all types of box joints, and

large workpieces.

You my be right and for that I apologies and I my have came on a little strong . But it doesn’t make since why go out and buy a clamp that only has one function and cost $25.00 and then two or three mouths down the road your heading back to the store to get a clamp multiple functions for $ 30.00 I just thought we was here to help people not confuse them.

Can't help you with the not being smart thing, that'll come with experience so keep at it.  To clear up your confusion, the customer provides feedback for products on vendor forums, nothing to do trash talking, simple feedback.  More importantly if I were bad-mouthing all things kreg I'd not bother posting my projects, kreg needs improvements, everyone knows that, but kreg is also open to improvements, hence their asking how they can improve which is why they are open to feedback.

I was wondering if the Kreg jig rep, could give us a realistic date when they will releases  new tool.
