Router table freehand guide pin

I wonder how many Kreg router table owners have either lost or misplaced or at least are worried about losing their router table's freehand guide pin. Here's my cure for that. Choose any pre-drilled hole in any one of the router table legs They are already the proper size for this. Now, thread it for 1/4-20 threads. That's the thread on the guide pin for screwing it into the table top. When not in use simply screw it into that tapped hole you just made. Always out of the way and always right there when you need it.
