<p>Because of the veneer sheets I could see this happening if the clamp applied too much pressure. With some test scrap try using less closing pressure. Have you tried the <a href="http://www.kregtool.com/90-Degree-Corner-Clamp-Prodview.html" target="_blank">90 Degree Corner Clamp</a>?</p>
