I came up with a easy solution to keeping your bits in good shape.Costs are min and will never get banged around in your tool box.Just a short hunk of clear tubing slipped over the bits shank

Great solution, Jens. Here are a few more ideas I've seen thrown around:

1) Cigar holder
2) Screw it into a wine cork

3) Lock it into built-in holder on bottom of Jig (K4 Kreg Jig Only)

4) Homemade holder similar to this envelope.

I had no idea that there was a bit holder on the bottom of the jig!!!
Guess I just enjoy keeping my equipment safe,The wine corks would also be great however I don't drink anything on account Im always around power tools You no what I mean haha Surprising amount of people that don't no about the storage under the jig itself

Did not know the built in storage was there ether?
Didn't know there was built in storage either, but with the jig mounted to a board it will be of little use. Unless, I cut a hole in the mounting board to access the storage, hmmm.
I like clear hose if your mounted up on board already

I think the idea of the plastic tubing is excellent.  Thanks for sharing it.

I've been using the clear tubing for a long time too.  Works great.  Speaking of "didn't know".....I just discovered recently,  the little space/hole on the K4 where the allen wrench can be stored.
Great idea, Jens!! Now why did I not think of that?
No problem Steve .

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
