Kreg Owners' Community

Hi all, I have just joined the Kreg community, and one of the first videos I found was Jeff Devlin talking through the Workbench project plan... I really need a new workbench, but I cannot find the plans on the Kreg site... DOes anyone know where I can get them?

Thanks

Graeme

Try free woodworking plans.com. You could subscribe to shop notes and they would send you a book called "The Complete Small Shop". I got my idea from that or, check around the web. Or ask someone if they got a plan.

Excellent, thanks Leslee and Paul
If you want to go really cheap but highly effective, Buy a pre cut 6 foot section of formica kitchen countertop. Lowes has one in white for 62 dollars, I think. Then build a simple box skeleton at a height that's comfortable for you and you're off to the races. 2x6's work better than 2x4's. Using cheap counter top gives you a solid, flat, smooth work surface. And the pre attached back splash keeps your stuff from rolling off the back. And after you beat the thing to death over time, buy another for 62 dollars.
