<p>I just measured the depth settings for the various wood thicknesses and made a startling discovery. According to the depth setting scale on the snap lock jig, the setting for the 1 1/8" wood is 1/16th of an inch deeper than for the 1 1/4" wood. The settings for the 1 3/8 and 1 1/2 measure the same. Anyway, here are Kreg's recomended settings:</p>
<p>1/2" = 3 1/4", 5/8 = 3 1/2", 3/4" = 3 9/16", 7/8 = 3 11/16", 1" = 3 29/32", 1 1/8" = 4 3/16", 1 1/4" = 4 1/8",…</p>
