Kreg Owners' Community

Hi everyone,

I wanna build a work station of sorts around my miter saw.  I have a "delta" 10" compound Miter saw.  I of course wanna make it of all 2X4s Since they are cheap, and , well, I figure since i don't need full lenghts, I could just go to home depot and get a bunch of their shorter pieces for 50 cents a piece. My question or request was maybe some helpful pointers on how big, tall to make it. pictures are very welcome.  Also I'm planning to get a sliding miter later on, see any issues with using the same work station? Please help.  By the way, thanks everyone for the help on my last post "loft Bed" its on hold right now, since my wife says I've gotta do a couple other things in my son's room before i build him a loft bed, thank goodness for her, she's my voice of reason, she keeps me from getting my plate full all the time, and yes, she did ok this "miter saw work station"
