I have boards that are a true 2 inch thick, however the jig and screws are for 1 12/ inch thick. Is there a jig for large wood dimensions.
The Kreg Jig HD will go larger. www.kregtool.com/store/c13/kreg-jigsreg/p59/kreg-jigreg-hd/
I enthusiastically 2nd the HD jig.
The heavier screws are the key to dealing with the dimensional wood sizes.
Martin, you are correct. Thanks for sharing the link.
Yes, Anthony, the Kreg Jig® HD (Heavy-Duty): https://www.kregtool.com/store/c13/kreg-jigsreg/p59/kreg-jigreg-hd/..., is optimized for use with materials that are 1-1/2" and thicker. The Kreg Jig® HD creates joints that are 50% stronger than standard Kreg joints, and is great for large outdoor projects.
When working with the Kreg Jig® HD, it is best to use Kreg Jig® HD Pocket-Hole Screws: https://www.kregtool.com/store/c20/kreg-jigreg-screws/?source=1677, which are available in 30-count and 125-count packages. These 2-1/2"-long #14 hardened-steel screws are optimized for use with the Kreg Jig® HD.
