I'm thinking about building the Kreg workbench as is. I'm wondering how much it weighs when completed? Is it fairly portable? I'd like to be able to drag it outside for the occasional sunny day sawing job. Right now the workbench I built some time ago is enormously heavy and heavy duty.
Any idea's as to the Kreg's version's weight?

I understand your point about the locks on all 4 wheels not being a necessity. In my experience, anything on the other side of the table is hard to reach. If you like locks on all 4 wheels, go for it, but they aren’t essential. The only item I have with locks on all 4 wheels is a flip-top table, and that's because the front changes depending on which tool I'm using. The drawer pulls out from both sides, which is handy. I use swivels on all 4 corners for better maneuverability.
When it comes to buying casters from woodworking stores, the quality is similar. I have 3" casters from both Peachtree and Grizzly, and the only way to tell them apart is the mobile invoice. Peachtree's casters were $58, while Grizzly's were $24.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
