HI, all.

Building a large pantry.  The shelves in the rear of the pantry are 10" wide.  Followed by a swinging 8" shelf system.  What is the easiest way to set my front pin holes with the jig.  Obviously, there is no edge or lip in the middle of the panel.   The holes to the back can be done normally, how can I set for the front holes?

Hope this is some what clear...

Hi Rod, about the most accurate method would be to use a framing square and determine a straight and square line off the back of the cabinet.  If you do not want to mark a line on the surface of the cabinet then use tape such as painters tape and use the edge as a you would a pencil line.

Short of using the shelf pin guide you could use an old trick that I have often used on odd places, and use a piece of squared up peg board.  use the front of the cabinet to square it up and use the  peg holes as a template.  They are evenly spaced and make a quick solution to your type of problem.

Hi Rod, I sometimes use a piece of scrap plywood cut at a starting height from the bottom of the cabinet to get my holes to line up. you could use the same tactic for front to back to keep your jug on track.

Gonna try the my circular saw cutting jig.  It's straight and then the jig up against that.

Thanks for your replies

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
