I just purchased the march issue of wood magazine and on page 28 they have a project for building a base with storage space for your pocket hole jig, looks like a fairly easy project to build and probably could be built out of scraps that were left over from other projects. they even have a screw chart that you can glue to the inside of the lid

it's a good thing I'm not graded on my typing skills
Does anyone have photos of such an item?  I'm sure with all the creativity on here, someone has already built one and is willing to share ideas?  From multiple ideas, maybe we can borrow what works for each of us and build the ultimate workstation / mounting platform????

I've got the picture from Wood on my desk, & plan on using the micro-pocket drill guide to pocket hole the 1/2" plywood together (the four sides & bottom anyway).

Here's the article!  I'm planning to build one!  Really cool.

Bob I thought about doing the same thing you did, but I'm not too sure how legal it is to copy a magazine article and post it on a web site
Well, it's only wrong if you get caught! Lol
all my pieces are cut.Just need to put it together.

I went online to try to buy that article from Wood Mag. The only way was to buy a DVD w/ mulitiple seasons for $149... thanks but no thanks... .

David,

Try copying the pasting the above image to a wood document,

and then print it out.
