My Menards store shows on their website a 90 corner clampp which has a big v plate on the outside and looks like a smaller one inside to clamp your boards face to edge in a 90 degree fashion. It looks like it would be great to use for building nice square boxes. However the website says they are discontinued and I can't find them on the Kreg Website. Do you still make them, or was there a problem with functionality on them? I am working on building a queen sized platform bed with storage drawers and good square corners are mandatory.

I was tempted to spend the AU$60 each to get the two that were at Carbatec Adelaide.
I like that there is a cut out that lets you make a t-joint as well.
What put me off is that they are ugly looking things.
I have clamp track and blocks set up and 4 sets of Irwin corner clamps on medium duty clamps. For box joints with the fingers slightly proud for sanding I need to pack out the clamp to get the fingers closed. I like the medium clamps for boxes as you can clamp from the sides with them and the pads don't foul the fingers like the HD ones do.
I love mine!
It's a little awkward to get the hang of, but is a truly useful part of my cabinet building tool set.
I like the look of the new version better, play the waiting game for Caratec to get them in.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
