I have recently purchased a K5 to upgrade from my K3 and have noted that the vacuum port on the k5 is impossible to get a vacuum hose on it due to it being so close to the assembly. The port I had to purchase separate for my k3 was farther out from the body of the jig and would allow a vacuum with no problem.
Is anyone else have this problem?

I'm having the same problem with the K5. I do have a small shop vac that fits, but I'm trying to get my dust collection system to fit. I need a 1 1/4" male to 1 1/2" male adapter. Any suggestions?
I found a adapter that fits the K5 (a bit tightly but it fits). GIBTOOL 35mm to 32mm Vacuum Hose Adapter. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FF21RN6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_t... The other end fits the Rockler Dust Right® Universal Small Port Hose Kit.
Yes, I do. It is ridiculously short. I have no idea what connector to use with it, I was able to half-ass something together but I'm looking for a better solution. Way too flimsy and poorly thought out.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
