Theold extension tubes I had laying around from an old Shop Vac brand shop vac fits mine just right. I use a small shop vac and not the dust collector.
Try Home Depot. Rigid makes some adapters. Search for "rigid vac adapters"
http://www.homedepot.com/s/rigid%2520vac%2520adapters?NCNI-5
PS---make accurate measurements of the port on your device---
take it with you to check the adaptors, to insure they'll fit.
I've seen some adaptors marker 1-1/2" and they measured 1-1/4" and
visa versa.
Some of the workers at some of the stores tell you they're the same---
some don't know there's a different.
Akin to a 2x4, that measures 1-1/2 x 3-1/2".
BTW---if you have/find an adapter, that may be a little loose,
you can simply make a fix by adding a wrap or two of masking tape, (blue or green), around the male end, to make a tigher fight.
You want to the fit to be "snug"---just so it doesn't vibrate loose, or easily come off.
Use a slight twisting motion to tighten/loosen.
This kit includes a 1" and 1-1/2" port adaptor.
The port on the Kreg is 1-1/4".
I use this adapter, on my shop vac to the Kreg ports.

I've also found adapters at vac supply stores.
Take your vac hose with you, when shopping, so as to get the correct match fit.

OK. Finally got a pic of my setup. I hope this helps.
That small shop vac is WAY more vac than you really need for the K5 port. I can feel the pull when I set the piece in place to be drilled.

Luckily I had recently purchased the Ridgid car cleaning kit and that hose fits.
The Rigid car cleaning kit uses a 1-1/4" hose, so I assume any 1-1/4" connectors would work (for those who don't have a nearby Home Depot.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
