I was using my pocket hole jig to build some cabinet boxes and noticed that all of my screws are piercing out the other side of the material.

I am using 3/4" plywood joined to another 3/4" of the same material. I am using 1-1/4" coarse Kreg brand screws. The tip just comes through the surface of the second material.
I've set the bit with the offset collar using the stand and believe that I have done it correctly.
The only issue that I believe could have caused it is I have noticed is that the size adjustment pin for 3/4" seems to be incorrectly placed. You can't even read the 3/4" wording, let alone the white line below it. The pin is fully seated. see the attached picture.  Inline image 1
Could this be the issue, or am I doing something else incorrectly?

Solved this issue Kreg support is really awesome, looks like my material thickness is closer to 5/8".

Such a newbie :)

Most 3/4" plywood is 1/64" to 1/32" undersized.  I've taken to setting the stop collar on the drill bit about 1/16" short of the 3/4" mark on the jig.

Thanks Tim, that is what I ended up doing as well. Works perfectly now.
