Hello my my name is Tom Comeau and I am from Barrington N.H. I have recently retired from the fire service and need to get back into carpentry. In my younger days I had built a few homes but mainly did general constuction kitchens, bathrooms, small additions.
I recently worked on a cabinet that my dad had started but was unable to complete before he passed away two years ago. He had precut the face frame and had it all ready to be either dowelled or biscuited together, those were the methods that we were use to using. A friend I work with knew of the project and had given me a Kreg Jig. Now this may sound like a sales pitch but within 2 hours I had the frame together and mounted on the cabinet using only the jig. I thought that was pretty quik for the first time, I am really impressed with the tool.
