Hello, my name is Anthony. I live in St-Eustache Qc, CA and I've just started woodworking. I've only completed basic plywood projects and am currently on my first solid wood project (Cherry). haven't used my kreg jig wet but will use it as soon as the opportunity arises.

I'm an infrequent woodworker, with lots of household improvement jobs to work on. I bought my Kreg Jig Master Kit a few months ago, and finally used it on the face frames for the built-in cabinets I've been working on. Amazing! All of a sudden I'm rethinking my approach to a bunch of projects. While I've been pleased with my brad nailer and glue for the carcases, I think my next built-in project will use the Kreg system to improve the joint strength. It has been rare in my experience to find a tool or jig that really is as easy to use as the manufacturer leads you to believe, but I think Kreg has done it.

Hello, My name is Joe and I live in Urbandale, Iowa. Urbandale is located on the NW corner of Metro Des Moines, Iowa, and about a half hour from the Kreg Corporate in beautiful Huxley, Iowa. I own several Kreg products, and most recently bought and used Kreg Crown Pro jig to cut crown molding. I do most of my tool shopping at The Woodsmith Store in Clive, about 5 miles from my house, and Acme Tools (Puckett Tools) in Des Moines, so I am totally spoiled - and broke. My wife is aghast at my interest (obsession) with all things mechanical, but it does make me easy to shop for when it comes to Christmas, my birthday and Father's Day. Besides Kreg tools, I am heavily invested in Festool, Bosch, Porter Cable and Milwaukee corded and cordless tools, in rank order. I watch Craigslist for bargains as they come along. I prefer older, better made tools that have that "Made in the USA" stamp on them. I enjoy restorting good tools as an additional hobby.

Hi! I am Jason, and I live in Florida with my wife and two dogs... and the cat (don't ask, it's a love hate thing!) Anyway, My father, kind man that he is, knows I love to work with wood and build things, so he bought me the Kreg Master set for my birthday. Anyone have any suggestions for a starter project? I am not advanced, but not a beginner. By the way, my lovely bride is completely skeptical.... she keeps saying, "You'll never use it!" She said that before every project though, and I not only finished them but impressed her. Anyway, it is good to be here, and I look forward to posting pictures and getting to know you all!

Hi I am Beth from Texas. I am a long time crafter and decorative painter. I read about the product on the Knock Off Wood Blog. I am just learning how to use my tools. I have lots of tools but usually wait for my husband to do whatever I need and have decided that I should learn to use my own tools. I bought the jib to help me make stronger joints with less effort. I like it but still need more help to learn how to use it.

Hello everyone my name is Bob ,I am by trade a steel fabricator but I'm building a 16' Travel trailer so I'm looking to learn about wood Fab.. I purchased a POCKET conection tool/jig to build my own cabenets . I am impressed by this system! Simple/Strong makes me have confedence in this part of my project. Any ideas or suggestions on cabenet making ? Pass them on .

Hello Everyone, I have been a member for a while now and have enjoyed reading about others from this community and have been impressed with the talents I have seen in your projects. It is enjoyable to read the posts of others and to find that there is a wealth of knowledge amoung its members. I have gained some valuable knowledge from you and for this, I am thankful. I am hopeful that I can return to you some of my knowledge as well.

I am a prior Deputy Sheriff and I turned to woodworking as a stress releaving hobby. This hobby soon expanded and when I left law enforcement in 1993, it developed into a rich rewarding second career of which I have built cabinetary and other wood projects, building a business known as Cabinet Technology in Salem, Oregon. I had my first experience with Kreg Tools in about 1993 when I purchased their pocket hole jig at a wood working show in Portland, Oregon. This was one of the best purchases of this career as it totally changed my methods of wood jointry. If there is a " BETTER or QUICKER" method of jointing two pieces of wood I have not yet discovered it.

I have enjoyed the challenges of building and designing new projects and learning something from every project. If there is any advise I can tell you that I value the most is: "Build for the love of it and not just for profit", have the confidence in your self to be successful, don't be afraid to try something new and seek advice from others when in doubt." I have found the most happiness when I have worked by this rule.
