Hi Dennis:

Where you from in VT?  I'm from Swanton, now living in TN.  Just had a heart valve replacement and a bypass so

my woodworking will be limited for a while.

Hi, all!  I'm from the Monadnock region of New Hampshire; have puttered w/ woodworking projects for years; am nearing retirement -- so built an workshop addition to our home.  Largest project I've attempted was an 18 foot kit-built kayak; currently on the second kayak.  Having the dedicated space for projects like this is a luxury I've never had before!  I look forward from learning from the community; learning curves are great!
Hello my Name is Neal. I live in the Caribbean. I have been into woodworking for a number of years but went on to other things, however, I have been keeping up to date. A friend urged me to acquire a kreg jig and I did. So now I am gathering materials to start a project and hoping that i would be back into full time woodworking.
This Jig is worth the cash,  i own 2 of them and use them on a daily basis,  if you are building cabinets this is a must.

Hello from St. Louis Mo

John

Did woodworking in Highschool have seen the Kreg Jig on TV. Would love to get back into woodworking. Wife bought me a table saw in hope I would build her some cabinets. I this jig worth the cash or is it just smoke & mirrors.

Hi, I am Chris Ferguson from south central PA.  I just got done building my house about six months ago and need to build my upper kitchen cabinets.  Wish i would have had this jig when the bottom was going together.  My trim, cabinets, and stairway are made out of the old house that was on the property.  I couldn't get anyone around here to cut my logs because of the nails (spent a summer pulling them out, alot of fun but worth it), so i ended up buying a portable bandmill.  The boards look really unique, 100+ year old wormy white oak with the stains from the cut nails.  I wish i would have saved the wooden pins that held it all together, but wasn't thinking at the time.  Right now im planning some of the boards i got from the logs, and plan to start my cabinets soon.  Joined because there is so many others out there with more experience than myself.  I dont mind going at it in the dark and learning from major/minor mistakes,  but why when there is someone to give good advice!  looking foward to meeting all of you when i make the time.
Hello, My name is Misty, and I live in Indiana.  I am an official beginner with woodworking.  I have always wanted to make furniture, but wasn't quite sure how to get started.  Then, I found a website with free step by step woodworking plans, Ana-White.com.  Now, I have found a dozen items I would love to make, so I bought a Kreg Jig to get started.  I can't wait to build something!
Hello, My name is Miguel and I live in middle Ga. I have been doing woodwork for most of my adult life. After serving in the Air Force special operations, it has always been an outlet for me after deployments. I am now retired so I want to do it at a larger scale. This is the first time I am working with KREG and I am really excited to get started.

HI I'm Brian from just north of Toronto - I Just recently started wood working - and love it. I tend to learn things the hard way, but my skill just keeps increasing and the Kreig so far has been great (No more plugs!)

Currently working on a dresser with a front frame that i used the jig for and, well it almost felt like cheating!

I would not have attempted this with out the jig - until after I dropped a bunch of money on clamps - and even then suspect I would have struggled.

My only issue was my local Lee valley does not sell 3/4" screws and the one 1" screws can poke through when using 1/2" ply.  I have learned that 1/2" plywood is not actually 1/2" - (the hard way). Since Kreg does not ship to Canada - I'm hoping to secure a source of 3/4" screws (also learned the hard way that you cannot easily subsitute a different screw!)

As part of project above I also bought the Kreg Drawer mount guide - I also suspect it has saved me a ton of work monkeing around with adjusting the rails!

      Hi,

Harold here, I have an older kreg jig. I have mine mounted on a piece of plywood. Any flat spot and clamp it down. I've used it on several projects and at present I'm working on a microwave cart for my son. I'll post pictures soon.

 Later ... :) H

Howdy all!  My name is Pat!

Greetings fellow enthusiasts. Jim from Seattle here. I am a DIYer who loves to build things but not so great at the finishing (as in the fine, detail finishing work). I have a nice Bosch router/table, and now the Kreg Jig Jr. along with the other basic tools and feel like I am ready to tackle more advanced projects, ala basic furniture pieces, etc. But I am still a novice when it comes to staining, sanding etc.

Hello,

I am a beginner wood worker. My first project is going to be rebuilding some kitchen cabinet drawers and replace the runners. The next one will be attempting to build some cope and stick cabinet doors. I just got the Kreg jig to rebuild the drawers.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
